BOI Fair 2011: A Fitting Tribute to His Majesty the King
The BOI Fair 2011 is set to open its doors and welcome the world into one of Asia's largest industrial showcases, and offer the opportunity to join in a nationwide celebration of the 84th birthday of His Majesty the King. While every royal birthday is cause for Thailand to celebrate, this year marks the completion of another 12 year cycle, which is very auspicious and a timely occasion to refl ect on Thailand's economic development and its prospects in the 21st century.

The Opening Ceremony
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will preside over the Opening Ceremony of BOI Fair 2011. On 5 January 2012, the Princess opens the fair during special formalities from 15:30 to 16:00 at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom at the Impact Muang Thong Thani Exhibition and Convention Center.

The Pavilions
The Royal Pavilion will be the centerpiece at BOI Fair 2011 and offer a fitting tribute to His Majesty's lifelong effort to improve Thailand's balance between industrial progress and environmental conservation. The pavilion itself is designed along the lines of His Majesty's Royal Barge, and will be comprised of three sections, each offering an education into the relationship of people and their habitat.

CEO, HIA Meetings
The upcoming BOI Fair 2011, rescheduled to 5-20 January 2012 after the flooding over past months, will be Thailand's largest exhibition showcasing the country's industrial products and services.

Seminars - Something for Everyone
One of the highlights of BOI Fair 2011 is no doubt the 200+ seminars that are being held across a range of industries from 5-10 January 2012 at Hall 9 and Challenger Building at Impact Exhibition & Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani. There are some 19 meeting rooms, with seminars in both the morning and afternoon on each of the six days.

BOI Fair 2011 to Host
As part of the activities of BOI Fair 2011, the Board of Investment (BOI) will host the 5th Save Our Planet conference, the fifth in a series of forums addressing the challenges of global warming and reducing humanity's carbon footprint. By holding this conference at BOI Fair 2011, the event organizers are hoping to reach out to Thai people and focus on environment issues in Thailand.
